LEX
Lex a 7 year old [neutered] Cesky Fousek the owners can no longer keep. Lex has been trained by myself in the last year.
He's very athletic and could easily pass for a much younger dog. He's collar conditioned to heel, sit, come around, recall and whoa. He is not forced fetched but will bring birds to your hand or feet. He's a great water dog with some limited duck hunting experience.
His upland skills are that he's controllably staunch and steady and has had a fair number of pen raised birds shot over him. But. He has a lot more retrieve in him than point and I think he was best used as a pointing/flusher.
He was raised in the house and is cat friendly. Very affectionate, he really like to be with people.
The small print:
Lex suffers from separation anxiety and can't be left alone or in a kennel even with other kenneled dogs. He's fine with gun fire but not very happy with thunder either.
I'm happy to show him here at our place in west central VT. Lex will only be placed in a home with approved references.
